Yes, any of the reports in Chronic Pain Tracker can be output in a variety of formats including PDF, CSV, and XML.
The most straight forward method of sending the report information is to press the PDF button on either the Summary of Graphical Report screen. This will generate a 2 page PDF file using a template that provides your doctor with a full explanation of the various parts of the report. Page one of the document will include a screen shot of the Summary report and page two will include a screen shot of the Graphical view.
This report is ideal for giving your doctor an overview of your recent pain history. If you want to enhance this with the details of every pain entry that was included in the report, you need to set the Report option for PDF Entry Detail to YES. This can be found underneath the list of reports. This option will add the details of each pain entry to the end of the PDF report.
The other output options are less visual in nature, but will give you access to the complete set of data contained in the pain reports. You can generate both the CSV and XML formatted data files by pressing the CSV button while viewing your reports. This will actually produce 2 CSV files - one which is formatted to provide the details of every pain entry used in the report, and one which is formatted to provide a summary of data for each day included in the report timeframe. The XML file includes both sets data in a single file.
When either the PDF or CSV button is pressed, you will first see a preview of the PDF or CSV files. You can then press the Send button to automatically create an email with the files included as attachements. Just add the email address of your doctor and send away.
NOTE - the ability to send an email requires that you have a device capable of data transmission and an active data account.
